Documents and legalisation
In order to get married in Zanzibar, Tanzania, you are required to have various original documents. After the ceremony you receive a marriage certificate.
This must be legalised (stamp and signatures) by the local authorities, in this case, from your Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dar es Salaam (included for those with a foreign passports).
Only after this legislation Act can this marriage become registered in the Municipality in your town/country.
