The United Republic of Tanzania Swahili: Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania) is a country in East Africa bordered by Kenya and Uganda to the north, Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west, and Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique to the south.

The country's eastern borders lie on the Indian Ocean.

The United Republic of Tanzania is a state composed of 26 regions (mikoa), including those of the autonomous region of Zanzibar. The head of state is PresidentJakaya Mrisho Kikwete, elected in 2005.

Since 1996, the official capital of Tanzania has been Dodoma, where parliament and some government offices are located. Between independence and 1996, the main coastal city of Dar es Salaam served as the country's political capital. Today, Dar es Salaam remains the principal commercial city of Tanzania and the de-facto seat of most government institutions.

It is the major seaport for the country and its landlocked neighbours.The name Tanzania derives from the names of the two states Tanganyika and Zanzibar that united in 1964 to form the United Republic of Tanganyika and Zanzibar, which later the same year was renamed the United Republic of Tanzania.


Tanzania's population has been estimated to consist of roughly mainland - Christian 40%, Muslim 30%, indigenous beliefs 30%; Zanzibar - more than 99% Muslims, Christians and followers of indigenous religious groups


English is no longer a de jure official language in Tanzania, which is one of the few African states in which a local language has gained importance to the disadvantage of the ex-colonial language. Since English is still the language of higher courts, it can however be considered a de facto official language. Tanzanians see themselves as having two "official" languages, English and Swahili


Many would argue that Tanzania is Africa's premier safari country. The most famous Serengeti national park, where the endless plains occupying about 14% of Tanzania's surface area. Here you can experience the annual animal migration, where more than 1 million wildebeest are on the move, along with herds of zebra and gazelles. With predators in eternal pursuit.

The old Ngorongoro Crater is a special experience, with its own ecosystem. Here you will find large herds of gnus and zebras, flamingos, as well as lions, elephants and rhinos, and more than 100 bird species are found in the crater. The landscape itself is beautiful. The most famous safari parks are Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ruaha and Selous. We have excellent lodges / camping facilities at all locations.

Mt Kilimanjaro.

Africa's highest peak rises 5,896 meters above sea level, is a mountain that is accessible to many. There are many routes to choose from to get to the top.

The classic Marangu route, the exotic camping routes.Shira or Rongai route for better acclimatization. These have a total of only 10% of the traffic on Kilimanjaro. We also Machame route, but know that there is more traffic.

Tanzania's second highest mountain, 4566 meters above sea level. Not as famous as brother Kilimanjaro, but this is a well-kept secret.

The mountain is located in Arusha National Park, and this is one trip where you spend 4 days/3nights.It Can be recommended for acclimatization and warm-up for the Kilimanjaro. We stay in simple mountain huts, and have porter with us & local guide

Make sure that the tour will visit Darajani market, where fish, vegetables and fruit is sold. You can go on trips to the spice farms where they grow nutmegs, cinnamon, pepper and more. However, Zanzibar is also has seaside resorts with great beaches. There are daily flights from Arusha, Dar es Salaam, several national parks and also international flights.


The Serengeti National Park is a large national park in Serengeti area, Tanzania. It is most famous for its annual migration of over one and a half million white bearded (or brindled) wildebeest and 250,000 zebra. Serengeti National Park is widely regarded as the best wildlife reserve in Africa due to its density of predators and prey.
